IPEX 2010 will see Morgana Systems confirm its position as a leader in digital finishing with a bigger than ever range of specialised products and systems displayed on the company’s largest ever stand. The stand will also see the rolling out of a fresh visual style for Morgana built around a newly designed logo which managing director Quen Baum claims will provide a stronger and more immediately recognisable identity.
“Our previous logo has served us for over twenty years”, Baum commented, “and we felt it was time that we designed something visually stronger that would make us stand out a bit more from the crowd. We also wanted something simple that would work equally well in the UK and in our rapidly growing export markets.” The latter was a particularly important consideration bearing in mind that 85% of products manufactured at Morgana’s Milton Keynes headquarters are now destined for export.
The new Morgana identity is built around what Quen Baum describes as a ‘Big M’ which can be adapted easily for all uses from stationery and product branding to exhibition stands. Underneath the ‘M’ is the slogan ‘Digital Finishing for Digital Printers’, which spells out the area in which Morgana has established its global reputation as leaders and innovators
Although the logo moves away totally from the previous design, the colours are the same to provide a measure of continuity. The illustration shows an artist impression of how the new logo will appear on the 77m long IPEX stand.
